I’d visited Strokkur Geysir a few years ago and was keen to go back and get a few more shots – however with snow on the ground and a low cloud base getting any contrast between the erupting Geysir and background proved impossible.

So rather than a landscape type shot, out came the 135mm for a closer shot using some of the crowds watching.
