A couple of days before this shot i’d looked out to sea and seen a deep red glow on the horizon. To begin with it looked like a massive explosion until sanity returned and it was the sun on the horizon between a gap in the clouds,

Move forward two days and a nice gap in the clouds again allowed for a really nice sunset scene as the sun appeared for a few minutes before heading to the Southern Hemisphere.
