Looking back to this time last year again on the Milford Track and after an amazing warm sunny day walking alongside the clear waters of the Clinton River the storm that would stick around for the next few days begins. Heading to Mintaro Hut the rain begins to fall and the waterfalls start to flow.

While it’s not always fun to hike in the rain the scenery and drama really comes alive on the track when the clouds darken and mist rises from the trees.

Hope anyone on the track at the moment it having fun 
