Staying in the Mount Cook area of New Zealand and another lake – Tasman Lake which was formed and is fed from the melting Tasman Glacier. The lake is often filed with mini icebergs and although they weren’t operating when we were there you can take small boats out among them on the lake.

A perfect spot with the mountain backdrop – and also a dramatic reminder of global warming when you realise how rapidly the glacier is retreating!
