Back to the Labyrinth

No need to Dance the Magic Dance, to enter the labyrinth on the Pine Valley side track when walking the Overland Track in Tasmania. But with a bit of a climb there are amazing views of the surrounding ranges and wonderful lakes.

Well worth the side trip of you’re walking the Overland!

West Pelion as seen from the Overland Track

Updates have been quiet over the past few weeks as i’ve been on the Overland Track in Tasmania for seven days hiking.

The focus was hiking rather than photography but there will be a couple of shots featured.

This one features the mountain of West Pelion and a nice little reflection in a pool of water.

Camping under the Stars

A camp along the Coast Track in Sydney’s Royal National park – and excellent 32km hike between Bundeena and Otford,

It can easily be done in one day but there is a camp ground at North Era which makes for a nice stopping point when you get night skies like this.

Shot with the excellent and portable Fuji x100s using my cooking pans in place of a tripod!
